El Ataque Colle-Zukertort Modernizado – segunda edición revisada y ampliada – Milos Pavlovic

He regresado a mi libro de hace algunos años, a una apertura que en aquel entonces era una invitada rara tanto en los libros como en la práctica de torneos. En los años transcurridos desde entonces, se ha vuelto muy popular utilizar este método antiguo y algo olvidado de jugar, y he encontrado muchas partidas nuevas e interesantes.

Sin embargo, en esta ocasión me he centrado principalmente en posiciones del tipo Colle-Zukertort, además de algunas transposiciones hacia esquemas similares a la India de Dama. Por ello, este no es un libro de repertorio como el anterior, sino que puede considerarse más bien como un libro de apertura. Por supuesto, también se cubren las reacciones tipo Eslava con …c6, así como las respuestas tempranas y rápidas con …c5 y …g6.

Debido al aumento de su popularidad, me he sumergido en los detalles que hoy podemos considerar como un auténtico renacimiento de esta antigua línea.

Otro aspecto importante —y de hecho un detalle especialmente relevante— es la organización del material en secciones lógicas, ya que este sistema suele dar lugar a muchas transposiciones. Por lo tanto, es fundamental organizarlo así para que la lectura del libro sea una experiencia fácil y placentera.

En este libro encontrarás posiciones que han resistido el paso del tiempo, pero también me he centrado en las ideas más recientes, ya que no quería simplemente repetir lo ya presentado antes: mi objetivo era incluir tantos planes nuevos como fuera posible. Además, he probado muchas de estas ideas repetidamente en mi propia práctica.

Así que lo que tienes aquí es un sistema completamente rediseñado y modernizado en comparación con el de hace apenas unos años, cuando esta forma de jugar estaba prácticamente olvidada.

Un detalle muy importante a tener en cuenta es que los capítulos 1 a 4 comienzan con la siguiente secuencia de movimientos, para que los lectores puedan asimilar más fácilmente el material posterior:

I have returned to my book from a few years ago, to an opening that at the time was a rare guest among books as a topic – and not only among books, but also in tournament practice. In the intervening years it has become very popular to use this old and somewhat forgotten method of playing and I have found lots of interesting new games.

This time though I have focused mainly on Colle-Zukertort type positions, plus some transpositions to Queen’s Indian-type play, so this is not a repertoire book like the previous one, but rather you can look at it as an opening book. Of course, Slav reactions with …c6 are covered as well, and also early and quick …c5 and …g6 reactions.

Due to increased popularity, I have dived into specifics which we can consider now as a renaissance of this old line.

Another important thing, and it is indeed an especially important detail, is the organization of material into logical sections, because this system is often transpositional. Therefore, it is important to do this because reading this book should be an easy and joyful experience.

There are positions in this book that have stood the test of time, but I have also focused on the most recent ideas as I didn’t want to simply repeat the same ideas as before – I wanted to include as much as possible new plans. I also tested these ideas numerous times in my own practice.

So, what you have here is a completely redesigned and modernized system compared to only a few years ago, when this system was virtually forgotten.

One very important thing to have in mind is that chapters 1 to 4 start with the following move order so that readers can more easily assimilate follow-up material:
